this is how much i am not studying. im on xanga. i mean who xangas
anymore? people like me who can't seem to make themself study. in
the past, i would have complained about the fact that i have to study
soooo much cuz i have three tests coming up this week and another t.f.
next week, but i mean. i dont think im even gonna study that
much.

| OK! i saw my first whipple, it was LONG, but it was full of anastomoses
which i LOVVVVVVE seeing! like--i think they are the neatest things to
do and just see them being made. stomas are cool too. i
also saw what we thought was going to be a distal panc/splenectomy but
turned out to be a HEMORRHAGIC ADRENAL CYST! omgz you dont even KNOW
how crazy that is. less than 700 total have been ever
reported......it has an incidence of like 0.06%!!! of course my genius
attending STILL knew that it could be due to pregnancy..told me to look
it up and he was right. it scares me that the most remote details
should be known when u become a doctor!!
ok so going back 2 weeks, i had a pool party at my house! good outcome
for having told people like, the day of or before. saw
pirates...didnt think it was fantastic but was still
entertaining. i didnt understand that one jamaican lady or
w/e..she majorly needed subtitles. i like the word subtitles in
french....'sous-titres'...haha ok.
was peters birthday 2 days ago...had a crazy beach party. it was fun
despite me knowing like, 2 people(one who never learned my name even
though we met like 5 times...now i know how it feels i guess eh?) but
then later in the night, lake people showed up so that was cool.
there was also tons of drama? but i wasnt part of that...it was like 2
couples cheating on eachother...with eachother..? so weird. also
randy romans hair is like NOT the big fro we all have grown to know and
love. anyways im
glad i went =)
today! i snook(i like this better than snuck) into the med students
suture course...me and ted thought we were soo cool for having done
that haha. we(at least I) were scared of getting caught haha but all
the med studnets were like its ok! ull blend in! right. anyways i
learned how to do some subcuticular running stitches
SO maybe fisher might let me sutue sometime?? fat chance. i was
also THIIIIS close to physically having pulled out someone's
gallbladder......a kljghdf;lkh but i was pretty durn slow at scrubbing
in cuz im paranoid about bacteria like i should be...anyway long story
short i just worked the camera. poop.
also ran for the first time in forever..then swam..and now im pooped! so gnight

| ok yall---tm isn't going to be some huge party, just whoever wants to
come over to my house and swim (in the rain???) can. bring food
if u want/are nice, prob wont bbq cuz itll rain...that and we cant find
our grill, our-our-our grill. but yeah if u want just call me,

hospital by uh.....4 or 5 maybe.
today was the pancreaticojejunostomy...plus jejunojejunostemy,
cholecystectomy, and other things i forget. it turned out being a
whoppin' 8 hours long!! then i went and worked at goodies til
now.....yeah im pooped.
